Kelly is the dynamic founder of Yellow Brick Consulting, Inc. Kelly has worked in healthcare for over 30 years and in Transition and Activation Planning for over 25 years. For over twenty years, she has focused her career on new healthcare facility planning and providing consultation to organizations transitioning into new environments. Having been on the owner’s side of the project, she possesses the keen sense of understanding each step required to seamlessly transition not only a facility but also the people who will provide and support patient care in the new building.
Christina Olivarria, MSPM, PMP, HACP
Senior Consulting Manager
Christina has over 12 years of healthcare transition and activation planning across complex inpatient and outpatient environments. She supports executive leaders, clinical stakeholders, and project teams by leading multidisciplinary coordination efforts, aligning
governance structures, managing risk, and advancing overall organizational readiness for safe and seamless Day 1 operations.
Jeff Agner, MPH, LBBP
Senior Consulting Manager
Jeff has over 20 years of Transition and Activation Planning experience in the healthcare industry. Jeff has successfully led or participated in hundreds of transition projects and is an industry subject matter expert for the Transition Budget. Jeff is committed to advancing healthcare project management and works with industry partners to develop new tools and innovative approaches to the delivery of healthcare facility projects.
Donna Demerjian, PhD, LCSW, LBBP
Senior Consulting Manager
Donna is an accomplished behavioral health executive with over 40 years of experience as a licensed provider and administrator. Donna brings more than two decades of leadership in behavioral healthcare project management, with a focus on designing and implementing programs for children, adolescents, and adults.
Kathy Stevenson, BSN, RN, EDAC, LBBP, CMS
Senior Project Manager
Kathy has worked in healthcare for over 40 years and in Transition and Activation Planning for over 15 years. She served as a bedside nurse, disaster manager, and house supervisor. As Patient Move Coordinator for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles’ replacement hospital, Kathy worked with the Yellow Brick team members to develop the patient move plan and coordinated the implementation of the building and licensing readiness plan with the hospital’s transition team.
Ali Broders, BA, PMP, LBBP
Senior Project Manager
Ali has over 15 years of experience in the health care industry and in Transition and Activation Planning. Ali expertly navigates the intricate processes and challenges involved in activating new spaces. She has served as the project lead for numerous projects, including academic medical centers, community hospitals, children’s hospitals, and outpatient facilities. Ali understands that the people side of projects requires a thoughtful change management plan.

With over 25 years of progressive experience in healthcare, including laboratory practice, administration, and facility planning. Melanie, is a dedicated advocate for her clients, with expertise in process improvement and lean healthcare practices, and building readiness and logistics planning.

Senior Project Manager
Bridget has over 17 years of diverse experience in healthcare operations, project management, consulting, insurance, and HR, with the last nine years specializing in Transition and Activation Planning. Prior to joining, she spearheaded several significant projects on the owners-side, including the integration of Sterile Processing and the launch and operationalization of multi-million-dollar projects.

Erica has 15 years of healthcare experience. As a transition planner, she has worked with academic medical centers, community hospitals, children’s hospitals and outpatient facilities. Erica has been involved in the planning and implementation of complex facility patient moves and thoroughly understands the complexities involved in planning.

Noor has more than a decade of clinical nursing experience and over two years in Transition and Activation Planning. Her background spans Medical‑Surgical, Stroke, Cardiac Telemetry,
Telehealth, and Flight Nursing, with a strong record of mentoring new RNs and coordinating patient care across multidisciplinary teams.

With seven years of industry experience, Hajar works closely with healthcare facility executives and the Yellow Break team in facilitating transition and operational planning workflow sessions, Dress Rehearsal events, and patient moves. She is experienced in quantitative data analysis and has published research findings.

Alex has over ten years of experience in healthcare and three years in Transition and Activation Planning. He leads key project efforts, supporting document preparation, floor plan development, and milestone events to drive successful activations. Administrative Coordinator
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Brenda is responsible for the support and coordination of internal Yellow Brick planning projects, including team training and travel. Brenda oversees the preparation of all client partner requests for proposals and assists with branding content, including social media and conference materials.

Project Coordinator
Aubrey is a project support specialist that specializes in operations and supply chain management. With hands-on experience in healthcare operations, consulting, and data analysis, she has contributed to hospital transition projects, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives. Aubrey combines a passion for healthcare innovation with proven skills in Excel, visual data storytelling, and cross-functional team collaboration.

As a Project Coordinator, Pearce is responsible for supporting his team and client partners in document preparation, meeting coordination and documentation, event planning, and other administrative tasks. He works closely with the project team to ensure all tasks are completed to support a successful project.

Project Coordinator
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Lisa is responsible for the coordination of healthcare facility projects from project initiation to Day 1 Activation. As a Dress Rehearsal subject matter expert, she manages all the requirements necessary to ensure a successful event. Lisa has participated in over 100 Dress Rehearsal events of different sizes and complexities across the country.

Abigail has three years of experience in Transition and Activation. Abby supports the Yellow Brick team through document preparation, scheduling, and the coordination of milestone events. She partners closely with project teams to develop detailed process flows that guide the launch and operation of new facilities.

Project Coordinator
As a Project Coordinator, Randi supports her projects in meeting preparation and event coordination. She is well-versed in laboratory techniques, data analysis and interpretation, gene mapping, and sequencing. She developed her critical thinking and analytical skills from her research experience and continues to apply these in everyday practical settings.
